Enrollment Information

After careful analysis and review by DREAM Academy’s Board of Directors, the State Charter Schools Commission and other stakeholders, DREAM Academy has made the decision to defer opening until August 2019. The State Charter Schools Commission supports DREAM Academy’s Board of Directors’ decision to delay opening. This new timeline will ensure the implementation of an innovative instructional program that guarantees the success of the students and enables DREAM to provide what was promised to the families served by the school. 

“DREAM Academy’s Board is disappointed that the school will not open as planned this August; however, it has been the board’s commitment from the beginning to provide the highest level of education possible through authentic arts integration to the children of Middle Georgia,” says Karla Redding-Andrews, board chair. “Families have entrusted us to provide this unique learning environment to your child, and we are steadfastly committed to doing so with the utmost integrity. The support and trust shown by our DREAM families is not something we take lightly. Although our decision is a difficult one, it is the right decision for the students of DREAM Academy. We will open when we can ensure a vibrant and compelling space with innovative education for the children, and currently the timeline and facility we have will not allow that.”

Creating an educational model that offers a unique learning environment focused on embracing and integrating the arts into the learning standards requires a visionary team and an extensively trained instructional staff who are passionate about providing students with the level of education all students attending DREAM Academy deserve.

Enrollment & Registration Procedures

To register to attend DREAM Academy this fall, you will need to complete and submit all enrollment paperwork and required documents. All documentation must be completed by June 8 to secure your ARTScholar’s spot. We have several upcoming registration opportunities where staff will be on hand to walk you through the process and collect your completed enrollment packet.

Enrollment Packet

Please note you will need to bring the following documents with you along with your completed enrollment packet to complete your registration:

  • Immunization Certificate (Georgia Department of Human Resources Form 3231
  • Hearing-Vision-Dental-Nutrition-Certificate (GA Form 3300)
  • Copy of your child’s birth certificate
  • Copy of the enrolling parent/guardian’s driver’s license
  • Copy of your child’s social security card
  • Proof of Residency (two documents showing name and address)
  • Your child’s most recent report card
  • Proof of Custody/Guardianship/Foster/Adoption, if applicable
  • Special Education Records (IEP/SST/504/Gifted), if applicable
